Katie Ray Pegorer, APC

Katie Ray is a dedicated counselor with a strong passion for supporting children, adolescents, and young adults through life’s challenges. She earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her Master’s in Education from the University of Georgia. She is in the process of acquiring the National Certified Counselor (NCC) credential and is currently working toward becoming a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC).

Her clinical experience includes working with teens and adolescents who have experienced trauma, such as abuse, as well as providing counseling services to college students in a campus-based mental health setting. She utilizes a blend of psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), always tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of each client.

Katie Ray is especially passionate about early intervention and the positive, long-term impact it can have. She believes that supporting children and adolescents at a young age can help build a solid foundation for emotional resilience, healthy relationships, and future success.
