Stephani Morss, APC & MRT Group Facilitator

For Stephani, counseling is a lifelong calling rooted in passion, deep empathy, and a belief that true healing addresses the whole person's mind, body, and spirit. As a trauma-informed therapist trained in EMDR (Levels 1 & 2) and certified in Brainspotting , Stephani goes beyond traditional talk therapy to help clients process stress and trauma where it often lives: in both the mind and the nervous system.

In her care, you’ll find a safe, grounded space to navigate life’s heaviest challenges. Stephani’s approach balances compassionate listening with practical, goal-oriented solutions to help you break free from negative thought loops and reduce daily stress.

Because connection is vital to transformation, she views both individual counseling and groups as powerful catalysts for growing and healing. Whether working one-on-one or facilitating a group, she uses her natural strengths in empathy and motivation to help learners grow.

If you are ready to take the next step, Stephani is here to help you identify your goals and work together to live your life with less turmoil.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy designed to help the brain reprocess traumatic or distressing memories. When we experience trauma, those memories can get "stuck" in the nervous system, causing emotional distress long after the event has passed. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation (such as guided eye movements or gentle tapping) to stimulate both sides of the brain, helping it naturally digest the memory. This process reduces the emotional weight of the past, allowing you to move forward without being constantly triggered.

Brainspotting was developed from the understanding that deep-seated trauma and stress are often stored beyond the reach of traditional talk therapy, Brainspotting uses a person's field of vision to access the deepest layers of the brain. During a session, we locate specific eye positions that trigger a physical or emotional response to a troublesome memory or feeling. By focusing on this "brainspot," the nervous system can safely process and unravel complex emotional blockages, leading to rapid, profound relief and restored balance to the mind and body.
